Assam AHSEC Class 12 Results 2016 - Assam Class 12 Results - Date, Information & More..

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announces the AHSEC Results 2016 i.e. the Assam Class 12 Results or Assam Higher Secondary Result 2016 generally in the last week of May every year. Last year, the Assam Board Result was announced on May 30 and this year, the date of declaration of AHSEC Class 12 Result will be 02 June 2016.

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) conducted the HSSLC exams from 15 February, 2016 till 14 March, 2016. Further, it was reported that around 4 lakh students appeared for the HSSLC examination during 2014-2015 and the Assam HSSLC result was declared on 30 May, 2015.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) is responsible for conducting High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination for the students of Class 10th. Every year, a lot of students appear for this examination. For the academic year 2014-2015, around 3,86,763 students appeared for SEBA Board HSLC exam. According to reports, as many as 51,046 students got first division while the SEBA HSLC pass percentage 2015 remained 62.2%. A boy from Barpeta district, scored 98%, which was the highest percentage scored in HSLC exam 2015.

Statistics 2016

Established in 1984, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) supervises the board examination for Class 12th students. The Class 12th board exams are conducted for various streams such as Science, Commerce and Humanities. About 3,78,671 AHSEC Board students appeared for 12th exam 2015. The AHSEC Board 12th pass percentage 2015 was recorded as 84.73%. While around 82.25% boys passed Assam Board 12th exam, the AHSEC Board 12th girls pass percentage was 83.29%

Time Table for AHSEC Higher Secondary Final Examination, 2016

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has released the dates for the Higher Secondary Final Examination, 2016. As per the HS final timetable, the examinations are scheduled to start on February 15 (Monday) with the English paper and end on March 14 (Monday) with Economics. Students will be giving their examinations in two halves of the day – the morning shift will begin from 9am and end at 12 noon; while the afternoon paper will start at 1.30pm and continue till 4.30pm. This apart, the practical exams for the Assam HS exams 2016 will start from January 2 and end on January 30, 2016. All students are requested to check the dates thoroughly.

However, a candidate may offer both the MIL subject/Alternative English and English and in such case, the marks secured by the candidate in one of the Language subjects [in which his/her performance is better] will be taken into account.
